Our History
Krishibid Seed Limited started its journey a long while back under the mother organization and holding company of Krishibid Group which is Krishibid Firm Ltd. Krishibid Firm Ltd. has initiated and nursed the seed business and at maturity, this company was registered as an independent company named Krishibid Seed Ltd in September 2016. Krishibid Seed Ltd. has been successfully doing business over the past years and has made a mark in the agro field. It is managed by highly experienced and well-qualified board Members, elected by the shareholders. The company envisions augmenting the development of agriculture and farmers’ livelihoods in Bangladesh through the production and supply of high-quality seeds, the most precious input for improved productivity. Krishibid Seed Ltd. is a member of the Asia Pacific Seed Association (APSA), Bangladesh Seed Association, Seed Industries Association of Bangladesh, and many other seed-related associations.
As a sister organization of Krishibid Group, Krishibid Seed was established in 2016 seeking to contribute to boosting agricultural production through providing quality seeds to the farmers. With over 15 years of corporate experience, Krishibid Group undertakes this initiative in agribusiness to help enhance agricultural production drawing technical support from a group of experts in crop breeding and seed technology.

Message of Our Chairman
Bangladesh is an agro-based country having immense potentiality. Organized efforts can take her agro-business to the apex of development. A group of committed agriculturists have come forward with a mission to augment sustainable development of agriculture through establishment of high-tech agro-industries. They have established a group of business companies named “Krishibid Group” (KG) with Krishibid Firm Limited (KFL) being the holding company. The group started operation in 2001 have registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms. The business of the group began with a very small capital of only 30 thousand taka and a small poultry farm that accommodated only 3 thousand poultry birds. Now, it is a well-known and renowned organization having 33 sister concerns and many other organizations and projects, in which some 5000 employees are working. This is the only nationwide business organization established by agriculturist professionals in Bangladesh. Krishibid Seed Ltd. is a sister concern of the Krishibid Group that was founded in 2016 to deal with the research and development, production, processing, and marketing of high-quality seeds and other agricultural inputs. There is a great opportunity to boost agricultural production by utilizing quality seeds in Bangladesh. Our organization primarily focuses on agricultural research and development to improve agricultural productivity and contribute to attaining sustainable food self-sufficiency and long-term economic growth of the country. Our company is devoted to providing our farmers with high-quality products and services. I wish the success of the company in achieving its goal.

For maintaining continuous improvement, we have a strong team in the research & development area & expert team in quality control. Now Krishibid Seed has spread in 64 districts in the whole of Bangladesh with these quality seeds. We always give our farmers the best quality seed. So, every corner every farmer who has taken seed from us always speaks loudly about our quality. So, it's our pride that we have been able to win the hearts of the farmers. Now to spread our fame not only in Bangladesh but also abroad we have launched our website to spread the fame of our Bangladesh with good quality products.
